Frequently asked questions about our public training offerings.
All of our public courses will be delivered in a live virtual format. Our courses are adapted for live online training, continue to have a 50% lecture/50% lab structure, and are held through Zoom. As of Summer 2022, we are able to offer private training onsite, so please inquire at training@networktocode.com for individual inquiries.
Our public US-based multi-day courses typically run from 10:00am – 6:00pm EST and the EU-based courses run from 9:00am – 5:00pm GMT. Our one-day workshops typically start at 9:00am EST. However, with the amount of course material, it is not uncommon for a day or two to run late. For 5-day courses, if the course material is running on schedule, the last day may finish a few hours early. For private enterprise courses, you may request your preferred start time.
For any public or private enterprise offering of Network Automation with Python I, and Network Automation of Ansible I and II, and our 5-day Network Programming & Automation bootcamp, we will send the students recordings just under 2 hours in length that will provide a background on network automation and information on lab access methods. These recordings and instructions are the only preparation needed.
The vast majority of labs are done through a Network to Code provided Linux workstation. However, there are a few labs that are performed locally such as using Postman locally (although if you’re on a corporate build, you can still do that lab from our machine).
It is possible to cancel up to 30 days prior to the scheduled course date for a full refund for our public courses. Private courses have the policy included in the Statement of Work. Please email training@networktocode.com for details on private course cancellation.
You will receive an official Network to Code Certificate upon course completion for any of our public courses. The format will work to post on Linkedin and verify completion with your employer, if needed.
Absolutely. While you should always check the prerequisites for each class, our flagship 5-day Network Programming and Automation, Automating Networks with Python, and Automating Networks with Ansible courses were built assuming no background in network automation. However, come prepared to learn—we cover a lot in each bootcamp!
