Summary

Network to Code (NTC) is a leader in the network automation training and professional services market. With the rapid expansion in the network automation market, Network to Code is hiring Network Telemetry & Analytics Engineers and Senior Network Telemetry & Analytics Consultants for its consulting practice. These individuals are client-facing and help NTC deliver cohesive network telemetry & analytics solutions for specific client projects, working on a multitude of technologies and open source projects.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and translate client requirements into strategic network telemetry & analytics solutions
  • Build network telemetry and analytics solutions for clients
  • Architect and build monitoring and analytics solutions using commercial tools and open source stacks, e.g. ELK, TIG, Prometheus
  • Perform hands-on deployments using network telemetry & analytics tools and technology that meet client requirements (Grafana, Prometheus, Influxdb, Druid, Logstash, Telegraf, gNMI, SNMP, Netflow, Thanos, Splunk, Kafka, etc.)
  • Work and interact with REST based APIs
  • Collaborate with peers and clients using video conferencing and chat

Qualifications

  • Experience with Grafana, SQL, and Prometheus
  • Awareness of tools and libraries such as Influxdb, Logstash, Loki, Telegraf, Druid, Kafka, gNMI, pmacct
  • Extensive experience with time-series databases & SQL databases in the context of network telemetry
  • Comfortable doing day to day development in a Linux environment
  • Familiar with traditional Git workflows for working in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiar with concepts around data science and how these concepts apply to a networking environment
  • Familiar with infrastructure as code with tools like Ansible or Terraform
  • Ability to travel 6-8 times per year
  • Ability to break down complex concepts and present them in a clean and concise way

  • Experience with Python/Django and creating APIs
