Senior Financial Analyst

IMPACT OF THIS ROLE:
Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role by performing budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that support major corporate decisions of the CFO, CEO, and the Board of Directors. This position requires the FP&A to utilize both quantitative and qualitative analysis of all operational aspects of NTC in order to evaluate the company’s progress toward achieving its goals and to map out future goals and plans. FP&A consider economic and business trends, review past company performance, and attempt to anticipate obstacles and potential problems, all with an eye toward forecasting a company’s future financial results.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process.
- Drive financial planning processes related to budgeting and forecasting, monthly, quarterly, and annual and long-range planning.
- Create financial models and analyses of financial and operational metrics to evaluate and direct business performance.
- Partner across finance, operations, marketing, and other groups to drive results.
- Develop and leverage reporting and process automation tools to help improve productivity in the finance organization.
- Continuously improve and evolve insights garnered through financial results and KPIs with the goal of positively influencing a rapidly growing business.
- Collaborate with finance and cross-functional partners to scope, launch, and scale new initiatives.
- Support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance.
- Leading and delivering on Digital Finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Hands-on experience leading financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting; and ability to work with financial systems.
- Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and operate successfully in a collaborative, rapidly growing organizational structure.
- Proven experience driving processes and influencing decision making across functions.
- Strong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and push back when required.
- Self-starter driving best-in-class decision support, comfortable in ambiguous environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills; advanced PowerPoint and Word skills required, Netsuite experience preferred
- You have strong experience working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve the organization’s financial performance.
- You have excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
