Impact of this role:

This is an entry-level role within NTC supporting the business needs from an internal IT perspective, also including lab and cloud management of our systems actively used performing various network automation tasks by our team of consultants supporting our customers and our training courses.

The person hired should feel comfortable not knowing something and be willing to ask for help.  They should be able to learn about and administer various technologies such as laptops, security, and IAM across cloud systems such as AWS, Packet, and Digital Ocean. This position has a large opportunity for growth for someone to forge their own path at Network to Code.

A day in the life:

  • Support tactical IT related tasks
  • Assist in new employee onboarding training, asset management, and hardware preparation.
  • Create and develop documentation resources for employees
  • Respond and work on incoming support requests
  • Participate in the IT Security Incident Response Team
  • Assist in DR efforts (monthly backups)
  • Ensure all employees have the correct access to appropriate systems and applications

What you bring:

  • Ability to work remote and independently but also be a team player
  • Strong communication skills to effectively help our employees
  • Self starter initiative to identify and take ownership of necessary tasks
  • Desire to learn more about networking, DevOps, and network automation

What you have:

  • 1+ years working in IT
  • Comfortable working with public cloud providers and handling security permissions across applications
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Bonus: any experience working with APIs, Python, Ansible, or Terraform
