Summary

Network to Code is a leader in the network automation training and professional services market.  With the rapid expansion in the network automation market, Network to Code is hiring a Director of Network Automation Training & Delivery to maintain and grow the network automation training business.  The person hired will own content strategy and overall direction for the training business along with managing the execution of the strategy–this includes working with all facets of the business ranging from sales, marketing, and professional services. The person hired should also feel comfortable being a public evangelist for the company at conferences, meetups, and other events.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing network automation training courses keeping up with changes in open source tooling
  • Manage, schedule, and enable NTC trainers for delivery of training courses
  • Recruit, hire, enable, and manage new NTC trainers with growth of business.
  • Teach onsite and remote network automation training courses
  • Create new network automation training content with a focus on open source tooling and frameworks
  • Manage the public training schedule
  • Build out online and on-demand training library
  • Manage direct and indirect team to assist in the creation of content and labs
  • Act as a company network automation technology evangelist
  • Manage training roadmap and pipeline
  • Work with customers to understand requirements and build custom training solutions to meet those requirements
  • Work with and enable sales and marketing with the collateral needed to sell and market the courses

Qualifications

  • Ability to break down complex concepts and present them in a clean and concise way
  • Ability to travel to teach 6-8 times per year
  • Extensive experience with Ansible and Python automating networking devices
  • Some experience with Flask or Django with the ability to create custom APIs
  • Awareness of tools and libraries such as pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish, Robot Framework, Forward Networks
  • Familiar with CI/CD and how it could be applied to network automation
  • Familiar with concepts around data management including Source of Truth strategy, NetBox, CMDB, and management of variables within YAML files
  • Understanding of YANG and its role within network automation
  • CCNP or equivalent networking knowledge
  • Proven experience writing blogs, articles, whitepapers, YouTube videos explaining network automation (or equivalent)
