Network to Code bridges the gap between DevOps and Network Engineering. We are a pioneer in the network automation industry. Our mission is to drastically change the way networks are managed, consumed, and operated on a day-to-day basis.   We offer a variety of professional and consulting services as well as training on Network Automation, DevOps for Networking, and how the network can be operated with an Infrastructure as Code mindset. Our services and solutions enable clients to better serve their business and the needs of their customers.

Role:

We are recruiting full-time and part-time contractors to work as content developers. The role will support the maintenance and expansion of our industry-leading public and private training curriculum for network automation.

Impact of this role:

As a contributor in the Learning and Development department at Network to Code, you will have direct influence on the career trajectory and personal development of network operators at our clients; the training curriculums you develop will guide their journey from traditional network engineers and architects to specialists of next-generation network automation.

A day in the life:

  • Under the direction of the Technical Lead in the Learning & Development department, you will support the maintenance and development of both existing and new training material.
  • Research, plan, develop, organize, create and modify training presentations and lab guide materials.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature.

What you bring:

  • Desire to shape the industry’s best practices via Network to Code standards and their clients.
  • The drive necessary to see a project through to completion.
  • Technical breadth and depth with the ability to dive into the unknown.
  • A can-do attitude that has a passion to document everything.

What you have:

  • 3-5 years proven experience working in a technical writing position.
  • Prior experience specific to IT tooling and automation workflows in the System Administration, DevOps, or Software Development disciplines.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies and automation is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Proficiency in document creation tools for slides, markdown, and video editing.
  • Proficiency in team collaboration tools such as Git.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
  • Skilled at prioritization and multitasking.
